There's a big test at the end of the school week, but lazy Stan has not been doing his revision. Your job is to help him study over 4 straight afternoons in order to get him test fit. It's not as boring as it sounds however; because in this game, work equals play! Rather than book reading and note taking, the 'studying' here involves playing minigames that test your ability to stay focused.
The gameplay involves a unique combination of risk, strategy, and resource management. Winning minigames earns you study points (with the total amount of study points acquired determining your final grade), but playing minigames drains your energy. The lower your energy gets, the harder the minigames become. The core game loop revolves around these basic mechanics with a few additional complications.
A full playthrough will probably take you an hour or more, so I strongly recommend making use of the autosave feature if you plan to go all the way!
This project was developed for the 33rd Week Sauce game jam, with the theme being: it's like (?) but with (?). It was also an excuse for me to revive a game concept I have been sitting on for nearly a year after a disastrous attempt to implement it for a previous game jam.
